STS Biology 163
Length: 2 semesters
This biology course is the foundation of our science sequence and is strongly recommended for all college preparatory students. The concepts, which are illustrated with laboratory work, stress the relationship between structure and function in man, animals and plants. This course focuses on the inter-relationships among living organisms and between this biosphere and the man-made environment and considers the current societal issues at these science-technology-societal (STS) interfaces.
